i planned on blogging today and saying something like, "damn, i'm bored" or "shit, this sucks" or something to that effect but whoa, was i surprised. blogger has a new interface! (for those who haven't noticed, and actually care to know harhar). its template (the dashboard itself) now has features similar to that when creating documents in MS Word. coolness. blogging is evolving. you can now change the font color, the font, the font size, justify/center/left or right align the text. hahaha. weird. cool at the same time (and slightly disorienting [is there even such a word?]). i can finally justify the text on my blog! hehe (a former frustration).
anyway, enough about that. another issue that i've been meaning to blog about was the injury that took larry fonacier out for the season. extremely saddening news and what i found very heart-warming and touching was the reaction of the atenean community to the loss of their main man in uaap basketball. everyone responded with support and an even better cohesiveness and belief in the power of the team. one would even be led to believe that this goes beyond "just basketball", it actually encompasses the famed atenean spirit that seemingly binds ateneans, old and young alike. yesterday, the first round of the uaap men's basketball came to an end, with ateneo leading in rank with zero losses. the game yesterday between admu and feu was intense. dramatic and full of heart. when l.a. tenorio shot a 3-pointer to guarantee the win, he did so with conviction. and when the shot sank in like it wasn't meant to go anywhere else, he pointed to larry fonacier as if saying, together with the admu community that "this one's for you". sigh. beautiful.
what else... what else... hrmm. i went drinking with my dad yesterday. harhar. weird :) but cool all the same. i also got to watch 13 going on 30 in bea's house the other night, with lisa. what a cute film! definitely not shallow and is one of those feel-good movies. highly recommended :) what else... what else...
aha! someone's turning twenty real soon ahehehehe. advanced hafi bardi! o yung mga nagfifeeling dyan na ginigreet ko sila, tama na. di kayo yun hehe. just kidding ;) you've matured so much and learned a whole lot, you just don't see the entirety of how much you've changed for the better :) hope wisdom still does come with age. goodluck! enjoy your day and the many more to come after that ;p
